Second Unit - 07/10/08

Today we can consider we start our shooting !!... hold on !!...
Well maybe we shouldn’t be so optimistic ‘cause it was only a shot for a background in a minor scene !!
But the script says...

CUT TO: FIELD OF GRASS (EXT. NIGHT)

The couple is looking at the stars, we see fireworks in the background.

So we still looking for the couple but we already have the fireworks !!

ABANDONED ROOM IN A POST APOCALYPTIC HOUSE

The man is alone on a tumbledown bed, a little girl stands up in front of him, she 's trying to wakes him up... (almost crying)

“... Daddy ??...”

Lately we’ve been looking for a very special scenario... what I call the “abandoned house”, so yesterday we took some pictures of a possible place.
Although after thinking a lot we had decide we’ll replace this location for a most accessible one !
I still have a lot of cuts coming from the brambles !! It’s a shame ‘cause we’ve some special attraction to the old house !

Location Scouting - 07/03/08

We finally started !!

Although we just went to take few pictures in one of the locations, we can consider the fact as a completely success !! because you don't know how hard it could be to start the pre-production (specially in a low-budget, independent short film) but we did it !!

I'm proud to show the first pictures, just a reference for a small scene in the film...

The location is sort of an abandoned industrial area we found pretty close the place I live !!

Currently we keep working on the other locations and the research for the main actors, we'll keep you update it !!
